Swimming is of great significance to college students. It is not only an aerobic exercise, but also an important survival skill. With the implementation of the new national fitness swimming standard in China, swimming has already become a compulsory course in colleges and universities. The research purpose of this paper is to solve the difficulties in the teaching of swimming course in colleges and universities, understand the differences between theory and practice in swimming course for students, and help the reform of swimming course in colleges and universities. Blended teaching mode is an effective way to educate people in the field of information-based swimming course teaching in the new era. Blended teaching has the advantages of clearer, more efficient and more personalized learning.
