Conventional Cyclic Redundancy Code (CRC) has been implemented for error bit detection. However, its error correction is simply ignored. To fully exploit this feature, this paper proposes a novel joint Log-Likelihood Ratio (LLR) CRC error mitigation for NC two way relay channel. Specific thresholds are designed to estimate the error number of data block and identify those which can be recovered if the number is within the error correction scope of CRC. We examine two modes of the thresholds, one based on the average Bit Error Rate (BER) of source-relay link, while the other based on that of instantaneous one. We provide the full analysis for the Pair-wise Error Probability (PEP) performance of the scheme. A variety of numerical results are presented to reveal the superiority of the proposed scheme to conventional CRC NC under independent Rayleigh fading channels. Moreover, the efficiencies of the proposed thresholds are also validated.展开更多

The objective of this paper, is to determine the habits of purchase of typical and traditional products of the people of Messina (Sicily, Italy). To do this a "motivational" survey was carried out by traditional methodology of descriptive researches. The adopted methodology of research was quantitative and random. The random research strives to identify the factors that depend on the behaviour of purchase and the appraisal of the existing relationships of cause-effect in a determined population. The interviewed were given a questionnaire composed of 17 questions on their knowledge of the typical products characteristics, the frequency of consumption, the monthly amounts destined to the purchase, the motivations that push them to the purchase of typical products rather than pre-packed. Methodologically, our statistical analysis has been performed using the log-likelihood ratio test in order to investigate the existence of association between the joint distributions of qualitative measured variables.展开更多

The basic idea was to use the so called (1,7) constellation (which is a capacitive efficient constellation) instead of the conventional 8-PSK constellation and to choose the most suitable mapping for it. A comparative study between the combinations most suitable mapping/(1,7) constellation and SSP mapping/conventional 8-PSK constellation has been carried out. Simulation results showed that the 1st combination significantly outperforms the 2nd combination and with only 4 iterations, it gives better performance than the 2nd combination with 8 iterations. A gain of 4 dB is given by iteration 4 of the 1st combination compared to iteration 8 of the 2nd combination at a BER level equal to 10-5, and it (iteration 4 of the 1st combination) can attain a BER equal to 10-7 for, only, a SNR = 5.6 dB.展开更多
