Before operation and 24 h after operation, serum levels of stress hormones, acute phase proteins and inflammatory markers of two groups of children were determined, and the speech function parameter levels were assessed. Results:Before operation, differences in serum contents of stress hormones, acute phase proteins and inflammatory factors as well as speech function parameter levels were not statistically significant between two groups of patients. 24 h after operation, serum stress hormones adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), angiotensin-2 (Ang-2), norepinephrine (NE), cortisol (Cor) contents of observation group were lower than those of control group, serum acute phase proteins haptoglobin (HP), ceruloplasmin (CER), and prealbumin (PA) contents were lower than those of control group, and serum inflammatory factors interleukin-1 (IL-1), interleukin-4 (IL-4), interleukin-27 (IL-27), tumor necrosis factorα(TNF-α) contents were lower than those of control group;speech function parameters NNE and NHR levels of observation group were higher than those of control group. Conclusion:Compared with routine surgery, low-temperature plasma radiofrequency surgery treatment of children with OSAHS causes less surgical trauma and more greatly improves the postoperative speech level.展开更多

Before and after operation, the levels of peripheral blood trauma-related indexes, humoral immunity and complement indexes as well as nasal ventilation function indexes were determined. Results:Before operation, the differences in trauma-related indexes, humoral immunity and complement indexes as well as nasal ventilation function indexes were not statistically significant between two groups of children. Immediately after operation, the peripheral blood SP, PGE2 and CRP contents of observation group were lower than those of control group;24 h after operation, peripheral blood IgG, IgM, IgA, C3 and C4 contents of observation group were lower than those of control group;1 week after operation, TIR and TER levels of observation group were lower than those of control group while NPV and MCSA levels were higher than those of control group. Conclusion:Plasma radiofrequency ablation for treatment of adenoid hypertrophy causes smaller intraoperative wound and has more advantages in optimizing the body's immune function and ventilation function.展开更多

Methods: A total of 80 patients with adenoid hypertrophy who received treatment from August 2020 to September 2021 were selected as the subjects. The relevant data of the patients were reviewed and divided into two groups according to different treatment forms, namely, 40 patients in the control group received conventional treatment, and 40 patients in the observation group received plasma radiofrequency ablation. The degree of intraoperative trauma, postoperative immune function, ventilation function, symptom score and total effective rate were compared between the two groups. Results: Immediately after the operation, the contents of intraoperative trauma related indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, P<0.05. 24h after operation, the content of immune function indexes in observation group was lower than that in control group, P<0.05;1 week after surgery, the ventilation function indexes of the observation group were better than those of the control group, P<0.05;After treatment, the scores of related clinical symptoms in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, P<0.05;After treatment, the total effective rate of observation group was higher than control group, P<0.05. Conclusion: In the treatment of patients with adenoid hypertrophy, in order to reduce the degree of intraoperative trauma and improve postoperative immune function, plasma radiofrequency ablation can not only improve the curative effect, but also reduce clinical symptoms and improve ventilation function, which is worth promoting.展开更多
