The global dynamic characteristic of nonlinear torsional vibration system with nonlinear rigidity and nonlinear friction force is investigated. On the basis of the generalized dissipation Lagrange's equation, the dynamics equation of nonlinear torsional vibration system is deduced. The bifurcation and chaotic motion in the system subjected to an external harmonic excitation is studied by theoretical analysis and numerical simulation. The stability of unperturbed system is analyzed by using the stability theory of equilibrium positions of Hamiltonian systems. The criterion of existence of chaos phenomena under a periodic perturbation is given by means of Melnikov's method. It is shown that the existence of homoclinic and heteroclinic orbits in the unperturbed system implies chaos arising from breaking of homoclinic or heteroclinic orbits under perturbation. The validity of the result is checked numerically. Periodic doubling bifurcation route to chaos, quasi-periodic route to chaos, intermittency route to chaos are found to occur due to the amplitude varying in some range. The evolution of system dynamic responses is demonstrated in detail by Poincare maps and bifurcation diagrams when the system undergoes a sequence of periodic doubling or quasi-periodic bifurcations to chaos. The conclusion can provide reference for deeply researching the dynamic behavior of mechanical drive systems.展开更多
This work presents a novel approach to achieve nonlinear vibration response based on the Hamilton principle.We chose the 5-MW reference wind turbine which was established by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory(NR...This work presents a novel approach to achieve nonlinear vibration response based on the Hamilton principle.We chose the 5-MW reference wind turbine which was established by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory(NREL),to research the effects of the nonlinear flap-wise vibration characteristics.The turbine wheel is simplified by treating the blade of a wind turbine as an Euler-Bernoulli beam,and the nonlinear flap-wise vibration characteristics of the wind turbine blades are discussed based on the simplification first.Then,the blade’s large-deflection flap-wise vibration governing equation is established by considering the nonlinear term involving the centrifugal force.Lastly,it is truncated by the Galerkin method and analyzed semi-analytically using the multi-scale analysis method,and numerical simulations are carried out to compare the simulation results of finite elements with the numerical simulation results using Campbell diagram analysis of blade vibration.The results indicated that the rotational speed of the impeller has a significant impact on blade vibration.When the wheel speed of 12.1 rpm and excitation amplitude of 1.23 the maximum displacement amplitude of the blade has increased from 0.72 to 3.16.From the amplitude-frequency curve,it can be seen that the multi-peak characteristic of blade amplitude frequency is under centrifugal nonlinearity.Closed phase trajectories in blade nonlinear vibration,exhibiting periodic motion characteristics,are found through phase diagrams and Poincare section diagrams.展开更多

In this paper, a direct probabilistic approach(DPA) is presented to formulate and solve moment equations for nonlinear systems excited by environmental loads that can be either a stationary or nonstationary random p...In this paper, a direct probabilistic approach(DPA) is presented to formulate and solve moment equations for nonlinear systems excited by environmental loads that can be either a stationary or nonstationary random process.The proposed method has the advantage of obtaining the response's moments directly from the initial conditions and statistical characteristics of the corresponding external excitations. First, the response's moment equations are directly derived based on a DPA, which is completely independent of the It?/filtering approach since no specific assumptions regarding the correlation structure of excitation are made.By solving them under Gaussian closure, the response's moments can be obtained. Subsequently, a multiscale algorithm for the numerical solution of moment equations is exploited to improve computational efficiency and avoid much wall-clock time. Finally, a comparison of the results with Monte Carlo(MC) simulation gives good agreement.Furthermore, the advantage of the multiscale algorithm in terms of efficiency is also demonstrated by an engineering example.展开更多

First, a Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model based on the fuzzy cluster algorithm and the orthogonalleast square method is constructed to approach the nonlinear system. Since its consequence is linear, it can divide the nonlinear system into a number of linear or nearly linear subsystems. For this T-S fuzzy model, a GPC algorithm with input constraints is presented. This strategy takes into account all the constraints of the control signal and its increment, and does not require the calculation of the Diophantine equations. So it needs only a small computer memory and the computational speed is high. The simulation results show a good performance for the nonlinear systems.展开更多

Based on the T-S fuzzy-modeling theory, NNCSs are modeled and network random time-delays are changed into the unknown bounded uncertain part without changing its structure. Then a fuzzy state observer is designed and an observer-based fault detection approach for an NNCS is presented. The main results are given and the relative theories are proved in detail. Wal-Mart in Wuhan serves as an example to establish a (s, S) random storage strategy model, a Markov chain model, and a nonlinear discrete programming model, aiming at maximizing the profit per cycle of every branch and further maximizing the company’s total profit per cycle. Among them, the random storage strategy model establishes a security zone of inventory for every branch, that is, it can meet consumers’ demand without spending too much storage costs. The Markov chain model is used to get the probability of losing sales opportunities in every branch. The nonlinear discrete programming model takes into account the horizontal transferring among branches, which further maximizes the company’s overall profit expectations. The three models above can be used to formulate inventory strategies, assess risks, and provide advice for every branch in order to form a complete storage ecosystem and provide constructive suggestions for the company’s operations.展开更多

The quality of the stator winding coil directly affects the performance of the motor.A dual-camera online machine vision detection method to detect whether the coil leads and winding regions were qualified was designe...The quality of the stator winding coil directly affects the performance of the motor.A dual-camera online machine vision detection method to detect whether the coil leads and winding regions were qualified was designed.A vision detection platform was designed to capture individual winding images,and an image processing algorithm was used for image pre-processing,template matching and positioning of the coil lead area to set up a coordinate system.After eliminating image noise by Blob analysis,the improved Canny algorithm was used to detect the location of the coil lead paint stripped region,and the time was reduced by about half compared to the Canny algorithm.The coil winding region was trained with the ShuffleNet V2-YOLOv5s model for the dataset,and the detect file was converted to the Open Neural Network Exchange(ONNX)model for the detection of winding cross features with an average accuracy of 99.0%.The software interface of the detection system was designed to perform qualified discrimination tests on the workpieces,and the detection data were recorded and statistically analyzed.The results showed that the stator winding coil qualified discrimination accuracy reached 96.2%,and the average detection time of a single workpiece was about 300 ms,while YOLOv5s took less than 30 ms.展开更多
The purpose of this study is to analyze the galloping characteristics of the catenary positive feeder in fluctuating wind areas considering dynamic-wind angle of attack and aerodynamic damping.Firstly,the flow field m...The purpose of this study is to analyze the galloping characteristics of the catenary positive feeder in fluctuating wind areas considering dynamic-wind angle of attack and aerodynamic damping.Firstly,the flow field model of the catenary positive feeder was established,the fluctuating wind field was simulated by Davenport wind power spectrum and linear filtering method,and the wind speed at inlet in calculation domain was controlled by editing the profile file to simulate and calculate the aerodynamic characteristics of the positive feeder in the fluctuating wind area.Then,taking the positive feeder as the research object,the mathematical model of actual structure and the corresponding finite element model were established.By applying the wind load to the finite element model,the influence of aerodynamic damping caused by the self-movement of the positive feeder on the galloping response was analyzed,and the frequency domain characteristics of galloping displacement of the positive feeder considering aerodynamic damping were studied.Finally,the calculation method of aerodynamic damping by the Guidelines for Electrical Transmission Line Structural Loading(ASCE No.74)was used for the galloping response of the positive feeder and compared with the proposed method.The results show that when considering aerodynamic damping,the galloping amplitude of the positive feeder decreases significantly,and the first-order resonance effect on the vertical displacement and horizontal displacement decreases significantly.The galloping trajectories calculated by the two methods are consistent.Therefore,this study is of great significance to further clarify the ice-free galloping mechanism of the catenary positive feeder in violent wind areas.展开更多

A simplified nonlinear mathematical model is first employed to represent a midwater trawl...A robust optimal output tracking control method for a midwater trawl system is investigated based on T-S fuzzy nonlinear model. A simplified nonlinear mathematical model is first employed to represent a midwater trawl system, and then a T-S fuzzy model is adopted to approximate the nonlinear system. Since the strong nonlinearities and the external disturbance of the trawling system, a mixed H2/H∞ fuzzy output tracking control strategy via T-S fuzzy system is proposed to regulate the trawl depth to follow a desired trajectory. The trawl depth can be regulated by adjusting the winch velocity automatically and the tracking error can be minimized according to the robust optimal criterion. In order to validate the proposed control method, a computer simulation is conducted. The simulation results indicate that the proposed fuzzy robust optimal controller make the trawl net rapidly follow the desired trajectory under the model uncertainties and the extemal disturbance caused by wave and current.展开更多

This paper introduces a Takagi-Sugeno(T-S)fuzzy regulator design using the negative absolute eigenvalue(NAE)approach for a class of nonlinear and unstable systems.The open-loop system is initially embodied by the trad...This paper introduces a Takagi-Sugeno(T-S)fuzzy regulator design using the negative absolute eigenvalue(NAE)approach for a class of nonlinear and unstable systems.The open-loop system is initially embodied by the traditional T-S fuzzy model and then,all closed-loop subsystems are combined using the proposed Max-Min operator in place of traditional weighted average operator from the controller side to lessen the coupling virtually and simplify the proposed regulator design.For each virtually decoupled closed-loop subsystem,the composite regulators(i.e.,primary and secondary regulators)are designed by the NAE approach based on the enhanced eigenvalue analysis.The Lyapunov function is utilized to guarantee the asymptotic stability of the overall T-S fuzzy control system.The most popular and widely used nonlinear and unstable systems like the electromagnetic levitation system(EMLS)and the inverted cart pendulum(ICP)are simulated for the wide range of the initial conditions and the enormous variation in the disturbance.The transient and steady-state performance of the considered systems using the proposed design are analyzed in terms of the decay rate,settling time and integral errors as IAE,ISE,ITAE,and ITSE to validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach compared to the most popular and traditional parallel distributed compensation(PDC)approach.展开更多

文摘With the rapid development of communication technology,optical fiber communication has become a key research area in communications.When there are two signals in the optical fiber,the transmission of them can be abstracted as a high-order coupled nonlinear Schr¨odinger system.In this paper,by using the Hirota’s method,we construct the bilinear forms,and study the analytical solution of three solitons in the case of focusing interactions.In addition,by adjusting different wave numbers for phase control,we further discuss the influence of wave numbers on soliton transmissions.It is verified that wave numbers k_(11),k_(21),k_(31),k_(22),and k_(32)can control the fusion and fission of solitons.The results are beneficial to the study of all-optical switches and fiber lasers in nonlinear optics.

文摘The quality of the stator winding coil directly affects the performance of the motor.A dual-camera online machine vision detection method to detect whether the coil leads and winding regions were qualified was designed.A vision detection platform was designed to capture individual winding images,and an image processing algorithm was used for image pre-processing,template matching and positioning of the coil lead area to set up a coordinate system.After eliminating image noise by Blob analysis,the improved Canny algorithm was used to detect the location of the coil lead paint stripped region,and the time was reduced by about half compared to the Canny algorithm.The coil winding region was trained with the ShuffleNet V2-YOLOv5s model for the dataset,and the detect file was converted to the Open Neural Network Exchange(ONNX)model for the detection of winding cross features with an average accuracy of 99.0%.The software interface of the detection system was designed to perform qualified discrimination tests on the workpieces,and the detection data were recorded and statistically analyzed.The results showed that the stator winding coil qualified discrimination accuracy reached 96.2%,and the average detection time of a single workpiece was about 300 ms,while YOLOv5s took less than 30 ms.

文摘The purpose of this study is to analyze the galloping characteristics of the catenary positive feeder in fluctuating wind areas considering dynamic-wind angle of attack and aerodynamic damping.Firstly,the flow field model of the catenary positive feeder was established,the fluctuating wind field was simulated by Davenport wind power spectrum and linear filtering method,and the wind speed at inlet in calculation domain was controlled by editing the profile file to simulate and calculate the aerodynamic characteristics of the positive feeder in the fluctuating wind area.Then,taking the positive feeder as the research object,the mathematical model of actual structure and the corresponding finite element model were established.By applying the wind load to the finite element model,the influence of aerodynamic damping caused by the self-movement of the positive feeder on the galloping response was analyzed,and the frequency domain characteristics of galloping displacement of the positive feeder considering aerodynamic damping were studied.Finally,the calculation method of aerodynamic damping by the Guidelines for Electrical Transmission Line Structural Loading(ASCE No.74)was used for the galloping response of the positive feeder and compared with the proposed method.The results show that when considering aerodynamic damping,the galloping amplitude of the positive feeder decreases significantly,and the first-order resonance effect on the vertical displacement and horizontal displacement decreases significantly.The galloping trajectories calculated by the two methods are consistent.Therefore,this study is of great significance to further clarify the ice-free galloping mechanism of the catenary positive feeder in violent wind areas.

文摘A robust optimal output tracking control method for a midwater trawl system is investigated based on T-S fuzzy nonlinear model. A simplified nonlinear mathematical model is first employed to represent a midwater trawl system, and then a T-S fuzzy model is adopted to approximate the nonlinear system. Since the strong nonlinearities and the external disturbance of the trawling system, a mixed H2/H∞ fuzzy output tracking control strategy via T-S fuzzy system is proposed to regulate the trawl depth to follow a desired trajectory. The trawl depth can be regulated by adjusting the winch velocity automatically and the tracking error can be minimized according to the robust optimal criterion. In order to validate the proposed control method, a computer simulation is conducted. The simulation results indicate that the proposed fuzzy robust optimal controller make the trawl net rapidly follow the desired trajectory under the model uncertainties and the extemal disturbance caused by wave and current.
文摘随着清洁能源的发展,风电作为一种清洁、可再生的能源,具有巨大的发展潜力。然而,风电的开发需要精确的风能资源测量和评估,以及选择适当的风电场址。因此,开发了基于B/S(Browser/Server,浏览器/服务器)端的风电场规划设计平台。该平台提供了多种功能,包括项目管理、风能资源评估、风电场选址、中尺度数据处理和方案管理等。该平台利用GIS(Geographic Information System,地理信息系统)技术和模型计算方法,能够对风能资源进行多方面评估和分析,根据地理信息、环境和建设要求等因素,优化风电场选址。同时,该平台具有用户友好的界面和数据交互功能,使得开发者可以更加便捷地实现风电项目开发。实际应用结果表明,该平台在风电场选址、风电资源评估等方面具有较强的竞争力,能够有效促进风电产业的发展。
文摘This paper introduces a Takagi-Sugeno(T-S)fuzzy regulator design using the negative absolute eigenvalue(NAE)approach for a class of nonlinear and unstable systems.The open-loop system is initially embodied by the traditional T-S fuzzy model and then,all closed-loop subsystems are combined using the proposed Max-Min operator in place of traditional weighted average operator from the controller side to lessen the coupling virtually and simplify the proposed regulator design.For each virtually decoupled closed-loop subsystem,the composite regulators(i.e.,primary and secondary regulators)are designed by the NAE approach based on the enhanced eigenvalue analysis.The Lyapunov function is utilized to guarantee the asymptotic stability of the overall T-S fuzzy control system.The most popular and widely used nonlinear and unstable systems like the electromagnetic levitation system(EMLS)and the inverted cart pendulum(ICP)are simulated for the wide range of the initial conditions and the enormous variation in the disturbance.The transient and steady-state performance of the considered systems using the proposed design are analyzed in terms of the decay rate,settling time and integral errors as IAE,ISE,ITAE,and ITSE to validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach compared to the most popular and traditional parallel distributed compensation(PDC)approach.
