The effect of lanthanum oxide on thermo-oxidative degradation behavior of HDPE has been studied by thermogravimetry.With addition of lanthanum oxide,the temperature at 5% weight loss can be dramatically enhanced.The r...The effect of lanthanum oxide on thermo-oxidative degradation behavior of HDPE has been studied by thermogravimetry.With addition of lanthanum oxide,the temperature at 5% weight loss can be dramatically enhanced.The results indicated that the apparent active energy of thermo-oxidative degradation reaction of HDPE was increased within 50% conversion rate of weight loss when lanthanum oxide in presence.Lanthanum oxide is not involved directly in the main chain scission of HDPE,which show the effect of lanthanum oxide is related with oxygen.展开更多
