A framework for sulfur content prediction was established, which integrated multi modeling ways together, including mathematical model combined with neural network(NN), rule model based on empirical knowledge and model-choosing coordinator. Via metallurgic mechanism analysis and material balance computation, a mathematical model calculated the sulfur content in agglomerate by the material balance equation with some parameters predicted by NN method. In the other model, the relationship between sulfur content and key factors was described in the form of expert rules. The model-choosing coordinator based on fuzzy logic was introduced to decide the weight of result of each model according to process conditions. The model was tested by industrial application data and produced a relatively satisfactory prediction error. The model also preferably reflected the varying tendency of sulfur content in agglomerate as the evidence of its prediction performance.展开更多

And the azimuth ambiguities are often mistaken as actual targets and cause false alarms. For actual targets, HV channel signals acquired by a fully polarimetric SAR are approximately equal to a VH channel in magnitude and phase, i.e., the reciprocity theorem applies, but shifted in phase about ±π for the first-order azimuth ambiguities. Exploiting this physical behavior, the real part of the product of the two cross-polarized channels, i.e. (SHVSVH), hereafter called A12r, is employed as a new parameter for a target detection at sea. Compared with other parameters, the contrast of A12r image between a target and the surrounding sea surface will be obviously increased when A12r image is processed by mean filtering algo- rithm. Here, in order to detect target with constant false-alarm rates (CFARs), an analytical expression for the probability density function (pdf) ofA12r is derived based on the complexWishart-distribution. Because a value of A12r is greater/less than 0 for real target/its azimuth ambiguities, the first-order azimuth ambiguities can be completely removed by this A12r-based CFAR technology. Experiments accomplished over C-band RADARSAT-2 fully polarimetric imageries confirm the validity.展开更多

This paper presents the concepts of concurrent reachable marking and concurrent reachable graph in order to represent and analyze the concurrent system. The algorithm constructing concurrent reachable marking set and concurrent reachability graph is also shown so that we can study the response problems among services in a network computing environment and analyze the throughput of the system. The investigation results show that when the partially coherent vortex beam is focused by the axicon, the beam is transferred into a partially coherent higher-order non-diffractive beam. In the non-diffractive zone, the transverse intensity distribution of the partially coherent higher-order non-diffractive beam is invariant during propagation. In addition, the range of the non-diffractive zone is related to the coherence of the partially coherent vortex beam. The poorer the coherence of the partially coherent vortex beam, the shorter the range of the non-diffractive zone.展开更多

A sufficient condition which makes the closed-loop system decentralized asymptotically stable with H_∞ performance was derived based on Lyapunov stability theorem. This condition is expressed as the solvability problem of linear matrix inequalities. The method overcomes the limitations of the existing algebraic Riccati equation method. Finally, a numerical example was given to demonstrate the design procedure for the decentralized H_∞ state feedback controller.展开更多

The main ideas of the algorithm are as follows: firstly suppose that all of the tasks are in different clusters; secondly, select one of the critical paths of the partially clustered directed acyclic graph; thirdly, try to zero one of graph communication edges; fourthly, repeat above three processes until all edges are zeroed; finally, check the generated clusters to see if some of them can be further merged without increasing the parallel time. Comparisons of the previous algorithms with edge-zeroing based on dynamic critical paths show that the new algorithm has not only a low complexity but also a desired performance comparable or even better on average to much higher complexity heuristic algorithms.展开更多

Since its birth in the early 90 's,digital forensics has been mainly focused on collecting and examining digital evidence from computers and networks that are controlled and owned by individuals or organizations.A...Since its birth in the early 90 's,digital forensics has been mainly focused on collecting and examining digital evidence from computers and networks that are controlled and owned by individuals or organizations.As cloud computing has recently emerged as a dominant platform for running applications and storing data,digital forensics faces well-known challenges in the cloud,such as data inaccessibility,data and service volatility,and law enforcement lacks control over the cloud.To date,very little research has been done to develop efficient theory and practice for digital forensics in the cloud.In this paper,we present a novel framework,Cloud Foren,which systematically addresses the challenges of forensics in cloud computing.Cloud Foren covers the entire process of digital forensics,from the initial point of complaint to the final point where the evidence is confirmed.The key components of Cloud Foren address some challenges,which are unique to the cloud.The proposed forensic process allows cloud forensic examiner,cloud provider,and cloud customer collaborate naturally.We use two case studies to demonstrate the applicability of Cloud Foren.We believe Cloud Foren holds great promise for more precise and automatic digital forensics in a cloud computing environment.展开更多

In this paper, an effective discrete-time adaptive control method is proposed for Wiener nonlinear systems with uncertainties. The parameterization model is derived based on the inverse of the nonlinear function block. The adaptive control method is motivated by self-tuning control and is derived from a modified Clarke criterion function, which considers both tracking properties and control efforts. The uncertain parameters are updated by a recursive least squares algorithm and the control law exhibits an explicit form. The closed-loop system stability properties are discussed. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained results, two groups of simulation examples including an application to composition control in a continuously stirred tank reactor(CSTR) system are studied.展开更多

Due to the nature of spatial queries, location-based service (LBS) needs the user position in order to process requests. On the other hand, revealing exact user locations to LBS may pinpoint their identities and breach their privacy. Spatial K-anonymity (SKA) exploits the concept of K-anonymity in order to protect the identity of users from location-based attacks. However, existing reciprocal methods rely on a specialized data structure. In contrast, a reciprocal algorithm was proposed using existing spatial index on the user locations. At the same time, an adjusted median splits algorithm was provided. Finally, according to effectiveness (i.e., anonymizing spatial region size) and efficiency (i.e., construction cost), the experimental results verify that the proposed methods have better performance. Moreover, since using employ general-purpose spatial indices, the proposed method supports conventional spatial queries as well.展开更多

To measure the echo reduction of a sample with this approach, the received signals are firstly foc...A measuring method of the echo reduction of passive materials by using the time reversal(TR) technique is presented. To measure the echo reduction of a sample with this approach, the received signals are firstly focused according to the TR theory. Then, the sample is removed and the TR processing is again employed to realize the focus of the received signal.Finally, the echo reduction of the sample is evaluated with these focusing signals. Besides, to calibrate the measured echo reduction via the TR technique, a standard sample is employed to measure a constant coefficient that only depends on the measurement environment. An aluminum plate sample and a steel plate sample with the same size of 1.1 mxl.O m x0.005 m axe tested in a wave guide tank. The experimental results show that the calibrated values are well consistent with theoretical results under the free field at the measured frequency range of0.5-20 kHz. The relative errors of all the measured values are less than 10% and the values of the expanded uncertainty are less than 1.5 dB. The TR processing focuses the energy in spatial domain and temporal domain, so it can be used to measure the echo reduction of passive materials in the environments with reflections induced by boundaries and low frequency sources.展开更多

In an OAM-based scenario, the antenna for OAM mode multiplexing/demultiplexing plays an essential role in controlling the overall system performance. In this paper, we demonstrated theoretically and experimentally an easily realized OAM antenna based on the traveling-wave circular loop structure for efficiently multiplexing/demultiplexing multiple OAM modes; in addition, its general propagation characteristics including the polarization, divergence, and radiation pattern are mathematically analyzed. The threshold logic gate has attracted much attention because of its powerful logic function. The resonant tunneling diode (RTD) is well suited for imple- menting the threshold logic gate because of its high-speed switching capability, negative differential resistance (NDR) charac- teristic, and functional versatility. In this paper, based on the Reed-Muller (RM) algebraic system, a novel method is proposed to convert three-variable non-threshold functions to the XOR of multiple threshold functions, which is simple and has a program- mable implementation. With this approach, all three-variable non-threshold functions can be presented by the XOR of two threshold functions, except for two special functions. On this basis, a novel three-variable universal logic gate (ULG3) is proposed, composed of two RTD-based universal threshold logic gates (UTLG) and an RTD-based three-variable XOR gate (XOR3). The ULG3 has a simple structure, and a simple method is presented to implement all three-variable functions using one ULG3. Thus, the proposed ULG3 provides a new efficient universal logic gate to implement RTD-based arbitrary n-variable functions.展开更多

The dependence of the effective refractive index of porous silicon/polymer composite films on the polymer fraction with various initial porosity was given theorically and experimentally respectively. The porous silicon and polymer polymethylmetacrylate based dispersive red one (PMMA/DR1) composite films were fabricated in our experiments. It is found that the measured effective refractive index of porous silicon inserted polymer was slightly lower than the calculated result because of the oxidization of porous silicon. The effective refractive index of oxidized porous silicon inserted polymer also was analyzed by four-component medium system.展开更多

On the other hand, revealing exact user locations to LBS may pinpoint their identities and breach their privacy. Spatial K-anonymity (SKA) exploits the concept of K-anonymity in order to protect the identity of users from location-based attacks. However, existing reciprocal methods rely on a specialized data structure. In contrast, a reciprocal algorithm was proposed using existing spatial index on the user locations. At the same time, an adjusted median splits algorithm was provided. Finally, according to effectiveness (i.e., anonymizing spatial region size) and efficiency (i.e., construction cost), the experimental results verify that the proposed methods have better performance. Moreover, since using employ general-purpose spatial indices, the proposed method supports conventional spatial queries as well.
文摘This paper deals with the issue of using the MATLAB tool in teaching the course of communication principles via constructing an Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK) communication system. Different from conventional MATLAB based simulations, the constructed system transmits modulated signals through a wire audio channel by exploiting sound card. Synchronization is required before the received signal being demodulated. Many practical problems should be considered as in real system. The designed system can be extended easily, and not only stimulates students’ interest in communication course, but also helps them understanding the principles from system viewpoints.
文摘A measuring method of the echo reduction of passive materials by using the time reversal(TR) technique is presented. To measure the echo reduction of a sample with this approach, the received signals are firstly focused according to the TR theory. Then, the sample is removed and the TR processing is again employed to realize the focus of the received signal.Finally, the echo reduction of the sample is evaluated with these focusing signals. Besides, to calibrate the measured echo reduction via the TR technique, a standard sample is employed to measure a constant coefficient that only depends on the measurement environment. An aluminum plate sample and a steel plate sample with the same size of 1.1 mxl.O m x0.005 m axe tested in a wave guide tank. The experimental results show that the calibrated values are well consistent with theoretical results under the free field at the measured frequency range of0.5-20 kHz. The relative errors of all the measured values are less than 10% and the values of the expanded uncertainty are less than 1.5 dB. The TR processing focuses the energy in spatial domain and temporal domain, so it can be used to measure the echo reduction of passive materials in the environments with reflections induced by boundaries and low frequency sources.

文摘In order to model the hysteresis behavior of a nano piezoelectric actuator(PA)on nano scale in a real time system,a new hysteresis modeling method based on an improved sub-pixel blocking matching algorithm with an optimal block size is proposed in this paper.First,Preisach model is introduced to model the hysteresis behavior of a piezoelectric actuator.Then,a real time block matching algorithm is researched and its block size is optimized with a standard object.Finally,experiments are performed with respect to a nanometer movement platform system,and the results show the feasibility and validity of the sub-pixel estimation based block matching algorithm and its application in modeling the hysteresis behavior of PA.

文摘The scintillation indices(SIs)of Gaussian beams and vortex beams propagating in turbulent atmosphere are investigated experimentally.It is shown that with the increase of propagation distance,the SI of Gaussian beam around optical axis increases gradually,but the SI of vortex beam with topological charge of 4 increases,achieves the maximum value at a fixed distance,and then decreases as the continued increase of propagation distance.The SI of vortex beam can be smaller than that of Gaussian beam under certain conditions.

文摘Electromagnetic vortices, which describe the orbital angular momentum(OAM) carrying waves with a helical phase front, have recently attracted much interest in a radio frequency domain due to their potential applications in many diverse areas. In an OAM-based scenario, the antenna for OAM mode multiplexing/demultiplexing plays an essential role in controlling the overall system performance. In this paper, we demonstrated theoretically and experimentally an easily realized OAM antenna based on the traveling-wave circular loop structure for efficiently multiplexing/demultiplexing multiple OAM modes; in addition, its general propagation characteristics including the polarization, divergence, and radiation pattern are mathematically analyzed. Schemes for antenna size reduction and various radiation pattern manipulations have also been discussed to realize a more flexible and compact system.

文摘Traditional CMOS technology faces some fundamental physical limitations. Therefore, it has become very important for the integrated circuit industry to continue to develop modem devices and new design methods. The threshold logic gate has attracted much attention because of its powerful logic function. The resonant tunneling diode (RTD) is well suited for imple- menting the threshold logic gate because of its high-speed switching capability, negative differential resistance (NDR) charac- teristic, and functional versatility. In this paper, based on the Reed-Muller (RM) algebraic system, a novel method is proposed to convert three-variable non-threshold functions to the XOR of multiple threshold functions, which is simple and has a program- mable implementation. With this approach, all three-variable non-threshold functions can be presented by the XOR of two threshold functions, except for two special functions. On this basis, a novel three-variable universal logic gate (ULG3) is proposed, composed of two RTD-based universal threshold logic gates (UTLG) and an RTD-based three-variable XOR gate (XOR3). The ULG3 has a simple structure, and a simple method is presented to implement all three-variable functions using one ULG3. Thus, the proposed ULG3 provides a new efficient universal logic gate to implement RTD-based arbitrary n-variable functions.

文摘The equation for calculating the effective refractive index of porous silicon inserted polymer was obtained by three-component Bruggeman effective medium model. The dependence of the effective refractive index of porous silicon/polymer composite films on the polymer fraction with various initial porosity was given theorically and experimentally respectively. The porous silicon and polymer polymethylmetacrylate based dispersive red one (PMMA/DR1) composite films were fabricated in our experiments. It is found that the measured effective refractive index of porous silicon inserted polymer was slightly lower than the calculated result because of the oxidization of porous silicon. The effective refractive index of oxidized porous silicon inserted polymer also was analyzed by four-component medium system.

文摘Because of the circular symmetry of a completely coherent radially polarized beam,the azimuthal intensity component is zero when it is focused by a high numerical aperture(NA) objective.In this paper,we show that such a conclusion is not tenable under the illumination of partially coherent beam whose coherent property depends on the azimuthal angle.Taking the Gaussian Schell-model(GSM) beam for an example,the tight focusing property of a partially coherent beam is studied,and the intensity and its radial,azimuthal and longitudinal components are particularly researched.The results show that the percentage of the components on the total intensity depends on the correlation length of the partially coherent beam.The azimuthal intensity component is produced under the illumination of partially coherent beam.
