Support vector machine (SVM) is powerful to solve some problems such as nonlinear classification, function estimation and density estimation. To consider the chaotic fh (frequency hopping)-code's characters in chaotic dynamic system, the forecasting model of the support vector machine in combination with Takens' delay coordinate phase reconstruction of chaotic times is established and the least squares model for large-scale problems is used in local training for this model. Finally, a fh-code series generated by Logistic-Kent mapping is applied to verify the local prediction model. Simulation results show that the high accuracy and fault tolerant SVM model has an excellent performance in predicting the fh code, with a very low mean square error and a high relative coefficient. 展开更多

The method of FRactional Fourier Transform (FRFT) is introduced to Transform Domain Communication System (TDCS) for signal transforming in the paper after theoretical analysis. The method yields optimal Basis Function (BF) by FRFT with optimal transform angle. The TDCS using the proposed method has wider usable spectrum, stronger robustness and better ability of anti non-stationary jamming than using usual methods, such as Fourier Transform (FT), Auto Regressive (AR), Wavelet Transform (WT), etc. The main simulation results are as follows. First, the Bit Error Rate (BER) Pb is close to theoretical bound of no jamming no matter in single tone or in linear chirp interference. Second, the interference-to-signal ratio J /E is at least 12dB more than that of Direct Spread Spectrum System (DSSS) under the same BER if the spectrum hopping-to-signal ratio is 1:20 in chirp plus hopping interfering. Third, the Eb /N 0(when estimation difference is 90% between trans- mitter and receiver) is about 3.5dB or about 0.5dB (when estimation difference is 10% between transmitter and receiver) more than that of theoretical result when no estimation difference un-der Pb=10-2. 展开更多

On the basis of the functionality and the traffic distribution characteristic of MEO-TDRSS, the coverage performance and inter-satellite link properties of four different constellation schemes are compared by simulations. Simulation results indicate that the rosette and common-track constellations, whose satellites are distributed on the celestial sphere more uniformly, are appropriate for the implementation of MEO-TDRSS of China. 展开更多

This paper studies the relationship between mobility, navigation and localization in the context of wireless sensor networks with mobile beacons. It is observed that mobility can aid in network node localization and that once localized, the network nodes can localize and track a mobile object and guide its navigation. A distributed kernel-based algorithm is proposed that enables the nodes to establish confident position estimates in the presence of ranging inaccuracies. The proposed approach features robustness with respect to range measurement inaccuracies, low complexity and distributed implementation, using only local information. A new design method interleavers, 2-dimension interleavers, are proposed for interleave division multiple access (IDMA) systems. With a same interleaving rule named I', the row indices and column indices of a traditional block interleaving matrix are scrambled to obtain an interleaver, which is marked as the master interleaver. F is produced by a loworder PN sequence generator. Two ways are provided for generating different interleavers. One is that all interleavers are generated by the circular shifting master interleaver. The other is that different inter leavers are generated by different Ts. Besides, we prove that the minimum distance between two adjacent bits resulted from 2-dimension interleaves is much larger than that of other schemes, such as random interleavers, power interleavers, and shiffting interleaves. The simulation results show that 2-dimension interleavers can achieve much better performance with much less resource consumption than random interleavers in IDMA systems. 展开更多

It is aly problem how to obtain the original users' signal in a non-cooperative context. In practicality, the DS/CDMA sources received are linear convolute mixing. A more complex multichannel blind deconvolution MBD algorithm is required to achieve better source separation. An improved MBD algorithm for separating linear convolved mixtures of signals in CDMA system is proposed. This algorithm is based on minimizing the average squared cross-output-channel-correlation. The mixture coefficients are totally unknown, while some knowledge about temporal model exists. Results show that the proposed algorithm can bring about the exactness and low computational complexity. 展开更多

A novel method for constructing the correlation matrix R is proposed. The proposed algorithm can improve the resolving power of the signal eigenvalues and overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional subspace methods, which cannot be applied to low SNR. Then the proposed method is applied to the direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) signal's signature sequence estimation. In this paper, the system structure and mathematical signal model based on clustered structure are presented for multipoint coordinating downlink transmission, the clustered supercell configurations with static/dynamic approaches are discussed, and then optimal precod- ing design is provided for an accepted level of scheduling complexity and reduced signaling over- head. Some simulation results are given to evaluate the performance of different cell-clustering approaches, and to show that a clustered supercell size of 7 is a reasonable choice for clustered coordination with the given transmit power and the reduced feedback. 展开更多

Switching Equalization Algorithm Based on a New SNR Estimation Method

It is well-known that turbo equalization with the max-log-map (MLM) rather than the log-map (LM) algorithm is insensitive to signal to noise ratio (SNR) mismatch. As our first contribution, an improved MLM algorithm called scaled max-log-map (SMLM) algorithm is presented. Simulation results show that the SMLM scheme can dramatically outperform the MLM without sacrificing the robustness against SNR mismatch. Unfortunately, its performance is still inferior to that of the LM algorithm with exact SNR knowledge over the class of high-loss channels. As our second contribution, a switching turbo equalization scheme, which switches between the SMLM and LM schemes, is proposed to practically close the performance gap. It is based on a novel way to estimate the SNR from the reliability values of the extrinsic information of the SMLM algorithm. 展开更多

In this paper, we propose a downlink transmission and receiving scheme for interleave-division multiple access (IDMA) system based on time-division duplexing (TDD) mode and time-reversal (TR) technique. The proposed scheme uses the time-reversed version of the channel impulse responses (CIR) obtained from the transmitted signal at base uplink to pre-process the station. By exploiting the weak correlations of fading channels for different user ends (UE), it is helpful to alleviate the multi-user interference (MUI) and co-channel interference (CCI). Moreover, the application of the TR technique in a multiple input-single output (MISO) configuration can reduce the delay spread of the channel impulse response, and mitigate inter-symbol interference (ISI). The UE can be simplified by canceling the iteration operation. Thus the data detection of the proposed scheme is rather simple as compared with the traditional IDMA, the complexity and computational load of UE is decreased substantially, and the proposed scheme provides a great deal of privacy and security to mobile users. 展开更多

In this paper, an anti-jamming FH signal acquisition scheme based on cognitive correlation process is proposed to boost the robustness of acquisition. The main idea of this scheme is to utilize a priori knowledge of FH speed and FH pattern to distinguish jamming signal from received signal. Furthermore, theoretic analysis on detection probability and false probability is given to demonstrate the robust performance of the FH signal acquisition method compared with conventional acquisition scheme without any prior information on FH speed and pattern in adverse environments. 展开更多

This paper investigates user scheduling in multi-user MIMO broadcast channel. We propose a leakagebased user scheduling scheme, in which a user's leakage power to other users is an important factor to determine whether the user should be selected. The accuracy of closed-form solution of SLNR (signal to leakage plus noise ratio) makes the proposed scheme outperform the traditional scheduling method based on SlNR (signal to interference plus noise ratio). The proposed algorithms can work in case of perfect or limited feedback of CSI (channel state information) at transmitter, and the advantage is verified with numerical results. A tradeoff relation among feedback bits number, active user number and transmit/receive antennas number is analyzed, which serves as a system design guideline. 展开更多
