From the point v...The problem of household solid waste has been concerned and researched on by municipalities and researchers.At present, household solid waste has been changed to management problem from technical one. From the point view ofmanagement, the research on household solid waste is to study the factors which influence resident’s behavior ofmanaging their waste. Based on the literature review, firstly, this paper summarizes those factors which have alreadybeen identified to have impact on resident’s behavior of managing their waste. They are social-demographic variables,knowledge, environmental values, psychological factors, publicity and system design. Secondly, three typical models ofthe relationship between factors and behavior, which are factors determining task performance in waste management,conceptualization of waste management behavior and the theoretical model of repeated behavior on household wastemanagement, are analyzed and the deficiencies of these models are also analyzed. Finally, according to the currentsituation in household waste management and the culture and resident’s habits in China, this paper puts forward aresearch focus and suggestions about resident’s behavior of household solid waste management.展开更多

Various methods have been used in previous authoritative studies. However, owing to inherent imprecision, difficulties always exist in some conventional methodologies when describing the interpretation of linguistic or measured uncertainties for real-world randoln phenomena. The purpose of this research is to present the fuzzy synthetic evaluation method to investigate residents' perceptions of tourisln impacts. At first, basic attributes and a hierarchical framework of tourism impacts are defined and formed. Secondly, the weighted vectors are determined according to the knowledge and experience of experts. Thirdly, the weighted evaluation matrices are aggregated to get the fuzzy sets of tourism impacts. In the last stage, the final fuzzy sets are defuzzified to get the rank of the residents' perceptions of tourism impacts. Reliable theories demand to be found in order to determine whether the structure accords with the requirement of design. For the requirement generally is dynamic variety as time passes, new requirements will come, and some initial requirements can no longer be used. The number of product requirements, the gene length expressing requirements, the structure of the product, and the correlation matrix are varied with individuation of customer requirements of the product. By researching on the calculation mechanisms of dynamic variety, the approaches of gene expression and variable length gene expression are proposed. According to the diversity of structure selection in conceptual design and mutual relations between structure and function as well as structure and structure, the correlation matrixes between structure and function as well as structure and structure are defined. By the approach of making the sum of the elements of correlation matrix maximum, the mathematical models of multi-object optimization for structure design are provided based on variable requirements. An improved genetic algorithm called segment genetic algorithm is proposed based on optimization preservation simple genetic algorithm. The models of multi-object optimization are calculated by the segment genetic algorithm and hybrid genetic algorithm. An example for the conceptual design of a washing machine is given to show that the proposed method is able to realize the optimization structure design fitting for variable requirements. In addition, the proposed approach can provide good Pareto optimization solutions, and the individuation customer requirements for structures of products are able to be resolved effectively.展开更多
Computer simulation was used for predictive analysis of the effects of weather and soil type on crop yield in the U.S. crop insurance program. The Environmental Policy Integrated Climate (EPIC) model was modified to...Computer simulation was used for predictive analysis of the effects of weather and soil type on crop yield in the U.S. crop insurance program. The Environmental Policy Integrated Climate (EPIC) model was modified to include hail weather events, which completed the modifications necessary to simulate the four most frequent causes of crop yield loss (hail, excessive wet, excessive cold, and excessive dry) associated with soil type in Kansas, USA. At the region level, per hectare yields were simulated for corn, wheat, soybean, and sorghum. We concluded that it was possible to predict crop yields through computer simulation with greater than 93% accuracy. The hail damage model test indicated EPIC could predict hail-soil-induced yield losses reasonably well (R^2 〉 0.6). The investigation of soil type influence on dryland sorghum and wheat production indicated that Wymore silty clay loam soil and Kenorna silt loam produced the highest sorghum yields statistically; Kuma silt loam, Roxbury silt loam, Crete silty clay loam, and Woodson silt soils produced the second highest sorghum yields statistically; and Richfiled silt loam, Wells loam, and Canadian sandy loam produced the lowest sorghum yields. By contrast, wheat production showed less sensitivity to soil type variation. The less sensitive response of wheat yields to the soil type could be largely due to the unconsidered small-scale variability of soil features.展开更多

The innovation of technologzv and the improvement of people's living standard accelerate the replacement of consumer electronic appliances, resulting in a significant increase of waste household electronic appliances...The innovation of technologzv and the improvement of people's living standard accelerate the replacement of consumer electronic appliances, resulting in a significant increase of waste household electronic appliances (WHEA). To address the environmental problems of WHEA, many countries have enacted legislation according to WHEA management, including collecting, processing and recycling. The regulations on the management of WHEA were also drafted in China and pilot programs of WHEA recycling management encountered difficulties in collecting WHEA. The success of a recycling scheme is dependent on people's willingness of participating in the scheme, This paper applies Ajzen's theory of planned behavior to seek the main factors to engourage consumers to participate in WHEA recycling management in China. Data from a survey conducted with a sample of 633 consumers show that service motivation is the first predictor of participation behavior intention, followed by environmental behavior attitude, economic motivation, subjective norm. and perceived behavior barrier. Environmental knowledge is found not to be the predictor of behavior intention in this recycling scheme. Study results also suggest that publicity is the key situational factor in the WHEA recycling management. Recycling network and policy have little influence on changing consumers' current behavior intention and participation. Implications of the findings are discussed and future research directions are suggested in the end.展开更多

However, its actual impact is significantly influenced by the semantic ambiguity problem of tags. So, in this paper, we proposed a novel way of detecting homonyms, one of the main sources of tag's semantic ambiguity problem, in noisy folksonomies. The study is based on two hypotheses: 1) Users having different interests tend to have different understanding of the same tag. 2) Users having similar interest tend to have common understanding of the same tag. Therefore, we firstly discover user communities according to users' interests. Then, tag contexts are discovered in subsets of folksonomy on the basis of user communities. The experimental results show that our method is effective and outperform the method finding tag contexts using all tags in folksonomy with overlapping clustering algorithm especially when various users having different interests are contained by the folksonomyo展开更多
Aiming atthe pricing of primary agricultural products for the large-scale suppliers and the wholesalers in agri-supply chain management, an approach for the large-scale supplier pricing is presented based on the thres...Aiming atthe pricing of primary agricultural products for the large-scale suppliers and the wholesalers in agri-supply chain management, an approach for the large-scale supplier pricing is presented based on the threshold cointegration method of wholesale prices online including the GBand-TAR modified Band-TAR model. Our empirical work shows that it is more appropriate for a large-scale supplier pricing with his wholesalers based on the threshold cointegration method than the conventional linear cointegration method in spatially separate markets in an agri-supply chain of soybean in China in short time. Firstly, the three pairs of prices in spatially separate markets are of long-run equilibrium and threshold cointegration. The forecast wst shows that the threshold cointegration approach is superior to the conventional linear cointegration approach in short time. Secondly, there are two thresholds of GBand-TAR in which the threshold parameters represent relative transaction costs. Larger thresholds or wider neutral band corresponds to the greater distance between markets. Thirdly, the estimation of M-TAR shows that the large-scale supplier is more sensitive to increase of wholesaler prices than decrease of wholesaler prices. The supplier can price on the forecast of market price by the threshold ECM including the GBand-TAR if the equilibrium error of threshold lag is not in the interval of thresholds in which there is not profitable trading opportunities for the supplier.展开更多

Applying cybernetics and information processing theories, this study explores the relationship between organizational environment, inter-organizational coordination, IT support, and the effectiveness of interorganizational coordination. Using the case study method, data was collected from six manufacturing firms in China. The results show that inter-organizational system adoption is affected by organizational environment and is related to the management of inter-organizational coordination. 文摘to the capability of reflecting social perception on semantic of resources, folksonomy has been proposed to improve the social learning for education and scholar researching. However, its actual impact is significantly influenced by the semantic ambiguity problem of tags. So, in this paper, we proposed a novel way of detecting homonyms, one of the main sources of tag's semantic ambiguity problem, in noisy folksonomies. The study is based on two hypotheses: 1) Users having different interests tend to have different understanding of the same tag. 2) Users having similar interest tend to have common understanding of the same tag. Therefore, we firstly discover user communities according to users' interests. Then, tag contexts are discovered in subsets of folksonomy on the basis of user communities. The experimental results show that our method is effective and outperform the method finding tag contexts using all tags in folksonomy with overlapping clustering algorithm especially when various users having different interests are contained by the folksonomyo

文摘Aiming atthe pricing of primary agricultural products for the large-scale suppliers and the wholesalers in agri-supply chain management, an approach for the large-scale supplier pricing is presented based on the threshold cointegration method of wholesale prices online including the GBand-TAR modified Band-TAR model. Our empirical work shows that it is more appropriate for a large-scale supplier pricing with his wholesalers based on the threshold cointegration method than the conventional linear cointegration method in spatially separate markets in an agri-supply chain of soybean in China in short time. Firstly, the three pairs of prices in spatially separate markets are of long-run equilibrium and threshold cointegration. The forecast wst shows that the threshold cointegration approach is superior to the conventional linear cointegration approach in short time. Secondly, there are two thresholds of GBand-TAR in which the threshold parameters represent relative transaction costs. Larger thresholds or wider neutral band corresponds to the greater distance between markets. Thirdly, the estimation of M-TAR shows that the large-scale supplier is more sensitive to increase of wholesaler prices than decrease of wholesaler prices. The supplier can price on the forecast of market price by the threshold ECM including the GBand-TAR if the equilibrium error of threshold lag is not in the interval of thresholds in which there is not profitable trading opportunities for the supplier.

文摘To examine whether there is a co-alignment relationship between environment risk, capital structure, growth and high-tech firm performance, the environment risk was measured from the viewpoint of environment change, the long-term debt ratio was adopted as the measure of the capital structure, and the total asset growth and sales growth were chosen to measure the growth of high-tech firms. Regression analysis shows that there is a significant relationship between environment risk, growth and performance of hightech firms measured by the return on equity and cash flow, respectively.
文摘The shadow banking system has grown stronger in the process of evading supervision.Together with traditional commercial banks,it has become an important participant in the financial system,which has caused a fundamental change in the structure of the global financial system.As an exogenous reform force in China’s special period,Shadow Bank has become an important channel for financial resources to“disconnect from reality”.Despite the lack of substantial securitization,China’s shadow banking system has developed rapidly.This paper analyzes the development motivation.This paper believes that the scope of China’s shadow banking system can be defined according to the nature of the fund supply side.

文摘Based on the analysis of the characteristics of AMC's non-performing asset auction, this paper puts forward a model of AMC's non-performing asset disposal with the Game Theory thinking, explored the Nash Equilibrium solution to the pricing model of AMC's non-performing asset auction, discussed the impact of the actual value of non-performing assets, auction disposal costs and other relevant elements on auction price, analyzed the pricing and decision-making mechanism of AMC's non-performing asset auction with Game Theory, and provided a theoretical guide for AMC to auction the non-performing assets in practice.

文摘Chinese investment banks, as a part of the financial market, play an important role in the development of the national economy. With the development of financial market after China's entry into WTO, the investment banks confront with immensely international competition. Meanwhile, Chinese investment banks are facing with problems such as elementary business structure, small capitalization and faultiness of governance, which lead to their less competitive power. This article conducts research from the perspective of path optimization of business structure of investment banks. Through economic analysis of path optimization of business structure, we conclude path optimization of business structure of domestic investment banks will lay a solid foundation for enhancing their competitive power. Whereafter this article constructs optimized path for business structure of Chinese investment banks and analyzes the influence factors of the optimized path. At last, this article advises on how to enhance the business structure of Chinese investment banks.

文摘User acceptance is one of the key fundamentals for development and success of mobile commerce (m-commerce). Based on the revised unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model, we described a theoretical framework that incorporates the unique characteristics of m-commerce to enhance our understanding of m-commerce acceptance and usage in China. The revised UTAUT includes the characteristics of m-commerce, inclusion and consideration of information system user satisfaction theory, and Chinese culture and context.
文摘This paper deals with single-machine scheduling problems with a more general learning effect based on sum-of-processing-time. In this study, sum-of-processing-time-based learning effect means that the processing time of a job is defined by a decreasing function of the total normal processing time of jobs that come before it in the sequence. Results show that even with the introduction of the sum-of-processing-time-based learning effect to job processing times, single-machine makespan minimization problems remain polynomially solvable. The curves of the optimal schedule of a total completion time minimization problem are V-shaped with respect to iob normal orocessinz times.
文摘Manufacturing organizations must know how to deal with uncertainty, manage environmental impact, effectively coordinate with suppliers, and use information technology (IT) to support coordination. Applying cybernetics and information processing theories, this study explores the relationship between organizational environment, inter-organizational coordination, IT support, and the effectiveness of interorganizational coordination. Using the case study method, data was collected from six manufacturing firms in China. The results show that inter-organizational system adoption is affected by organizational environment and is related to the management of inter-organizational coordination. Coordination and IT application affect the performance of inter-organizational coordination.
