First, the sign Doppler Estimator is applied to estimate the Doppler shift of each radar resolution cell. And then, in terms of the Doppler shift, a retrieval algorithm extracting the vertical displacement of the sea surface has been proposed. The effects induced by radar look-direction and radar spatial resolution are both taken into account in this retrieval algorithm. The comparison between the sea surface spectrum of buoy data and the retrieved spectrum reveals that the function of the radar spatial resolution is equivalent to a low pass filter, impacting especially the spectrum of short gravity waves. The experimental data collected by McMaster IPIX radar are also used to validate the performance of the retrieval algorithm. The derived significant wave height and wave period are compared with the in situ measurements, and the agreement indicates the practicality of the retrieval technology.展开更多

The effects of wavelength of beams and inner- and outer-scale of turbulence on scintillation are analyzed numerically. Compar- ison between the scintillation of GSM beams under the von Karman spectrum and that of beams under the modified Hill spectrum is made. The results obtained show that the scintillation index obtained under the von Karman spectrum is smaller than that under the modified Hill spectrum. This study can find theory bases for the experiments of the partially coherent GSM beam propagation through atmospheric turbulence.展开更多

It was found that significant segregation in liquid prompts high Nb phase to precipitate directly from liquid, which results in the redistribution of alloy elements and liquid density in their vicinity. The term "inter-precipitate liquid density" is therefore proposed and this concept should be applied to determine the solidification behavior of superalloy Inconel 718.展开更多

The analysis about the thermal stability shows that Zn-doped β-Ga2O3 remains stable. The Zn doping does not change the basic electronic structure of β-Ga2O3, but only generates an empty energy level above the maximum of the valence band, which is shallow enough to make the Zn-doped β-Ga2O3 a typical p-type semiconductor. Because of Zn doping, absorption and reflectivity are enhanced in the near infrared region. The higher absorption and reflectivity of ZnGa(2) than those of ZnGa(1) are due to more empty energy states of ZnGa(2) than those of ZnGa(1) near Ef in the near infrared region.展开更多

The echo modelling is based on the electromagnetic scattering mechanisms. A modified Four-path model based on the radar detection scene is used to describe the multipath scattering between the target and rough sea surface. A Facet-based Small Slope Approximation (FBSSA) method is employed to calculate the scattering from the sea surface. The Physical Optics (PO) and the Equivalent Edge Current (EEC) Method is used to calculate the target scattering. In the echo simulations. The results present the original echo and the echo processed by the signal processing procedures, where the clutter and multipath effect can be observed.展开更多

Nanoparticles were prepared by ionic gelation of chitosan with sodium tripolyphosphate (TPP). Betaxolol hydrochloride (BH) was applied as a model drug. TG, FT-IR, TEM, DLS and XRD have been employed in the characterization of drug-encapsulated chitosan-montmorillonite/TPP nanoparticles (CS-MMT/TPP NPs). TEM images showed that the particles were spherical in shape and had a rough surface. The size range of the nanoparticles was between 338 and 585 nm with positive zeta potential values from 24 mV to 36 mV and encapsulation efficiency values ranging from 12.27% to 50.92%. In vitro sustained drug release was observed with the BH-loaded nanoparticles in artificial tears (pH 7.4). The results of FT-IR, TG and XRD showed that the drug was coated with CSMMT/ TPP NPs. In the mucoadhesion studies, an interaction was found between drug-loaded CSMMT/ TPP NPs and mucin, which could enhance precorneal residence time and hence facilitate an effective sustained release. The optimized formulation was determined to be non-irritant and tolerable by modified Draize test. Therefore, the BH-loading CS-MMT/TPP NPs developed are a promising carrier for controlled drug delivery to the eye.展开更多

The field distribution and reflectance spectra are numerically calculated by the transverse magnetic method under transfer-matrix polarization, while the sensitivity is analyzed and compared with those of the surface plasmon resonance sensing method. It is found that the intensity of magnetic field is considerably enhanced in the region of the terminated layer of the multilayer stacks, and that BSW resonance appears only in the interface of the graphene and solution. Influences of the graphene layers and the thickness of a unit cell in Ph Cs on the reflectance are studied as well. In particular, by analyzing the performance of BSW sensors with the graphene monolayer, the wavelength sensitivity of the proposed sensor is 1040 nm/RIU whereas the angular sensitivity is 25.1°/RIU. In addition, the maximum of figure of merit can reach as high as 3000 RIU^-1. Thus, by integrating graphene in a simple Kretschmann structure, one can obtain an enhancement of the light–graphene interaction, which is prospective for creating label-free,low-cost and high-sensitivity optical biosensors.展开更多

文摘As interest in double perovskites is growing, especially in applications like photovoltaic devices, understanding their mechanical properties is vital for device durability.Despite extensive exploration of structure and optical properties, research on mechanical aspects is limited. This article builds a vacancyordered double perovskite model, employing first-principles calculations to analyze mechanical, bonding, electronic, and optical properties. Results show Cs_(2)Hfl_(6),Cs_(2)SnBr_(6),Cs_(2)SnI_(6),and Cs_(2)PtBr_(6)have Young's moduli below 13 GPa,indicating flexibility.Geometric parameters explain flexibility variations with the changes of B and X site composition.Bonding characteristic exploration reveals the influence of B and X site electronegativity on mechanical strength.Cs_(2)SnBr_(6)and Cs_(2)PtBr_(6)are suitable for solar cells, while Cs_(2)HfI_(6)and Cs_(2)TiCl_(6)show potential for semi-transparent solar cells.Optical property calculations highlight the high light absorption coefficients of up to 3.5×10^(5) cm^(-1)for Cs_(2)HfI_(6)and Cs_(2)TiCl_(6).Solar cell simulation shows Cs_(2)PtBr_(6)achieves 22.4%of conversion effciency.Cs_(2)ZrCl_(6)holds promise for ionizing radiation detection with its 3.68 eV bandgap and high absorption coefficient.Vacancy-ordered double perovskites offer superior flexibility, providing valuable insights for designing stable and flexible devices. This understanding enhances the development of functional devices based on these perovskites, especially for applications requiring high stability and flexibility.

文摘Dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO)plays an important role in chemistry, biology and industry. The S=O stretching vibration serves as a sensitive probe of its structure under different chemical environments. However, spectral assignment for the S=O stretching vibration of liquid DMSO remains unclear due to the interference of CH_(3)antisymmetric rocking and different aggregates, leading to the confusion in explaining the microstructures of liquid DMSO.Here, the S=O stretching spectra in pure DMSO and in extremely diluted CCl_(4)solution were investigated with temperaturedependent Raman spectroscopy. It is shown that CH_(3)antisymmetric rocking does not significantly interfere with the S=O band profile due to its low Raman intensity.Three decomposed peaks at 1027,1042 and 1055 cm^(-1)in liquid DMSO show obviously different intensity variety upon the temperature increasing.Combined with quantum chemistry calculation on(DMSO)_(n)(n=1-4)clusters,Raman spectra in the S=O stretching region were assigned and the simultaneous presence of the monomer, dimer and trimmer in liquid DMSO were concluded. These results contribute to a more detailed molecular understanding of the structure of DMSO in the liquid state.

文摘The accuracy of spot centroid positioning has a significant impact on the tracking accuracy of the system and the stability of the laser link construction. In satellite laser communication systems, the use of short-wave infrared wavelengths as beacon light can reduce atmospheric absorption and signal attenuation. However, there are strong non-uniformity and blind pixels in the short-wave infrared image, which makes the image distorted and leads to the decrease of spot centroid positioning accuracy. Therefore, the high-precision localization of the spot centroid of the short-wave infrared images is of great research significance.A high-precision spot centroid positioning model for short-wave infrared is proposed to correct for non-uniformity and blind pixels in short-wave infrared images and quantify the localization errors caused by the two, further model-based localization error simulations are performed, and a novel spot centroid positioning payload for satellite laser communications has been designed using the latest 640×512 planar array InGaAs shortwave infrared detector. The experimental results show that the non-uniformity of the corrected image is reduced from 7%to 0.6%,the blind pixels rejection rate reaches 100%,the frame rate can be up to 2000 Hz,and the spot centroid localization accuracy is as high as 0.1 pixel point, which realizes high-precision spot centroid localization of high-frame-frequency short-wave infrared images.

文摘The line-of-sight velocity of scattering facets is related to the Doppler signals of X-band coherent marine radar from the oceanic surface. The derived significant wave height and wave period are compared with the in situ measurements, and the agreement indicates the practicality of the retrieval technology.

文摘Based on the modified Rytov theory and the international telecommunication union-radio (ITU-R) slant atmospheric structure constant model, the uniform scintillation index of partially coherent Gaussian-Schell model (GSM) beam propa- gation in the slant path is derived from weak- to strong-turbulence regions considering inner- and outer-scale effects. This study can find theory bases for the experiments of the partially coherent GSM beam propagation through atmospheric turbulence.

文摘The influences of chemical segregation and phase transformation on liquid density variation during solidification of Ni-based supperalloy Inconel 718 were investigated using SEM and EDS. It was found that significant segregation in liquid prompts high Nb phase to precipitate directly from liquid, which results in the redistribution of alloy elements and liquid density in their vicinity. The term "inter-precipitate liquid density" is therefore proposed and this concept should be applied to determine the solidification behavior of superalloy Inconel 718.

文摘The electronic structures and optical properties of intrinsic β-Ga2O3 and Zn-dopedβ-Ga2O3 are investigated by first-principles calculations. The higher absorption and reflectivity of ZnGa(2) than those of ZnGa(1) are due to more empty energy states of ZnGa(2) than those of ZnGa(1) near Ef in the near infrared region.
文摘This paper has proposed a new modelling and simulating technique for the echo of the semi-active radar seeker against the sea skimming target. The results present the original echo and the echo processed by the signal processing procedures, where the clutter and multipath effect can be observed.

文摘The study of circulating cells in the blood stream is critical,as it covers many felds of biomed-icine,including immunology, cell biology, oncology, and reproductive medicine.In-viuo flowcytometry(IVFC)is a new tool to monitor and count cells in real time for long durations in theirnative biological environment. This review describes two main categories of IVFC,ie.,labeledand label-free IVFC.It focuses on label-free IVFC and introduces its technological developmentand related biological applications.Because cell recognition is the basis of flow cytometrycounting, this review also describes various methods for the classification of unlabeled cells, including the latest machine learning-based technologies.
文摘The objective of the study was to investigate the potential of montmorillonite as a sustained carrier in the preparation of drug-loaded nanoparticles for prolonged ocular application. Therefore, the BH-loading CS-MMT/TPP NPs developed are a promising carrier for controlled drug delivery to the eye.

文摘Bloch surface waves(BSWs) are excited in one-dimensional photonic crystals(Ph Cs) terminated by a graphene monolayer under the Kretschmann configuration. Thus, by integrating graphene in a simple Kretschmann structure, one can obtain an enhancement of the light–graphene interaction, which is prospective for creating label-free,low-cost and high-sensitivity optical biosensors.

文摘The distinguished electronic and optical properties of lead halide perovskites(LHPs)make them good candidates for active layer in optoelectronic devices.Integrating LHPs and two-dimensional(2 D)transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)provides opportunities for achieving increased performance in heterostructured LHPs/TMDs based optoelectronic devices. The electronic structures of LHPs/TMDs heterostructures, such as the band offsets and interfacial interaction, are of fundamental and technological interest. Here CsPbBr3 and MoSe2 are taken as prototypes of LHPs and 2 D TMDs to investigate the band alignment and interfacial coupling between them. Our GGA-PBE and HSE06 calculations reveal an intrinsic type-II band alignment between CsPbBr3 and MoSe2.This type-II band alignment suggests that the performance of CsPbBr3-based photodetectors can be improved by incorporating MoSe2 monolayer.Furthermore, the absence of deep defect states at CsPbBr3/MoSe2 interfaces is also beneficial to the better performance of photodetectors based on CsPbBr3/MoSe2 heterostructure. This work not only offers insights into the improved performance of photodetectors based on LHPs/TMDs heterostructures but it also provides guidelines for designing high-efficiency optoelectronic devices based on LHPs/TMDs heterostructures.
